Components of the Showcase

The Showcase of HBCU is a college and career preparation program that consists of
5 STUDENT COMPONENTS and 2 PARENT COMPONENTS.

PARENT COMPONENTS

As parents or guardians of college-bound students, you play an integral role in navigating choices as your child prepares for college. We recognize that deciding which college to attend is often a family decision. Education First Foundation’s mission is to make education a household priority. We hope to assist in making your child’s dream a reality.

The Urban Jazz Exchange and the Achievement Gap Luncheon and Parent Engagement Program provide opportunities for parents to participate in the college bound process.

STUDENT COMPONENTS

The student components are designed to provide students with a sound, accurate, and informative pre-college preparation experience. The objective is to introduce students to a vast array of career fields and allow them to network and interact with professionals. The student components include:
  • Champions Program

  • Senior Seminar

  • Education First, Pre-College Conference

  • Career Fair

  • Showcase of HBCU College Fair

If you believe in our mission and would like to make an impact on the lives of college-bound students, consider donating. Your donations go toward providing educational services, workshops, career counseling, and fairs related to college.
